Lobster Pond

I was actually setting up to paint the previous picture when this mother goose and family obligingly stopped by and posed for me. When I finished, they swam away.

From a long ago canoe trip down the Machias River. I actually ripped a toenail off on the first day of the trip and had to grin and bear it for the next two days. This painting, like the rest of them, was executed standing on one foot. grimacing in pain. An artist must suffer!
