Landscapes

Landscape has been my focus for the past 30 years. Recently I have restarted an old tradition of mine–the painting trip. I toss my painting stuff and camping gear into the car and take off for a week or so. Last year it was to the Shendandoah Valley of Virginia, the year before along the Mohawk Trail in Western Massachusetts. In addition to Painting Trip paintings, I've divided this work cityscapes, waterscape, and intimate, small scale landscapes.

All paintings are plein air and alla prima.
