2009 Painting Trip – Mohawk Trail

I had attempted this painting trip in 2002, but it was not to be. I waited until the wife and kids got back from Maine and then announced I was driving out to Western Massachusetts. My wife said "North Adams? That sounds interesting" and somehow my seven days of camping out turned into two days in a hotel room with the family. You can see the few paintings I got that time on the Mountainscape page. Please scroll right to see more images.

This was the quiet little stream that ran through the campground. Two days before I left there was a massive thunderstorm, which resulted in the river turning into the churning torrent shown in the next picture.
