Portraits

in oils, from life. Please see the Panhandlers page for my portraits of the homeless. Here is a link to a series of free portraits I gave away at the 2019 Fulton Pond Fall Festival in Mansfield, MA.

I usually try to get in a portrait while I'm at figure drawing. Here are some from the last six months or so.                 Kate Huntington's portrait session started up again this fall. Aurora was one of the models. Stylish, self-assured--10 going on 30!   This and the next few portraits were painted at Kate Huntington's portrait painting session at Providence Picture Frame. Thanks, Kate and PPF!

Chrissy was very prim in her buttoned-up old-fashioned blouse. I seriously considered suggesting to Kate that we throw her an extra few bucks and have her pose nude. Then I thought, "Naah, I'll get arrested."

My two grandnieces, from this year's RV trip to the Southwest. Both are very talented young artists. I guess it really does skip a generation.

One of several outdoor portrait give-aways I've done over the years. For the most part, the only record I have of these paintings are thee photographs.

After painting the portrait, I drove over to AS220 for a nude figure drawing session. The model was Chrissy.
